2009 Sponsorship Package
The Kids Day of Fishing, Inc is an organization of non paid volunteers who are dedicated to the enrichment of the lives of special needs and underprivileged children and their families by providing well organized community events to build confidence and life skills to enrich their lives.
 
In 2008, our second year of operation we successfully completed two major projects by enriching the lives of over 350 children and families.
 
  1. Travis AFB kids fishing derby at the duck pond May 3rd 2008.
  2. 2nd Annual Kids Day of Fishing Lake Solano Park June 9th 2008.

We also completed one smaller event for 15 special needs children. Kids Day on the Bay 2008 a live bait potluck fishing trip aboard the 'New Seeker' in San Francisco Bay.

 
This year for 2009 along with the support of our members and sponsors we have 4 major projects planed, in addition 2 smaller Kids Day on the Bay trips.
 
    1. Kiwanis, PAL Police Activities League Kids fishing derby at Dover Park Pond April 25th 2009.
    2. Travis AFB kids fishing derby at the duck pond 60th services squadron May 16th 2009.
    3. 3rd Annual Kids Day of Fishing Lake Solano Park kid’s pond June 13th 2009.
    4. 1st Annual Kids Camp Lake Solano Park and the kids fishing pond July 18th and 19th 2009.
    5. Kids Day on the Bay August 2009.
 
In addition we also by request plan to conduct single child guided fishing adventures for particularly special needs children throughout the year.
 
All of our events are planned, conducted and funded by Kids Day of Fishing, Inc. We provide hosting opportunities to community service organizations, such as Kiwanis, Lions and Rotary clubs and other service groups who provide assistance on the days of the events.
 
Our fishing events include. (Free to all participants)
    1. Caps and events T-Shirts.
    2. Fishing rods and reels, tackle kits and bait. These are good quality gear and given to the kids for there continued use.
    3. We stock the ponds with a generous supply of fish to insure the success of each child.
    4. We provide awards and prizes.
    5. Barbeque lunch, snacks and drinks are provided for all the children and participating adults.
