Supporters

We are an organization of un-paid volunteers with the mission of uniting dedicated volunteers for empowering disabled and underprivileged kids and families, through fun outdoor activities and other community events to build confidence and life skills to enrich their lives. Our motto is " Their Joy is Our Reward".

This is our second year of operation. Our currently planned events for 2008 are a Fishing Derby for approximately 250 special needs children of military personnel at Travis Air Force Base. In addition, we plan to help reunite, with their children, military parents returning from overseas deployed status. In June, we will be conducting our second annual fishing event for 100 disabled and underprivileged children that live throughout Solano and surrounding counties. We also plan to conduct, as requested, single child events for particularly special needs children.

All our events are planned, conducted and funded free of charge by Kids Day of Fishing Inc. We provide hosting opportunities to Community Service Organizations, such as, Kiwanis, Lyons and Rotary Clubs, who provide assistance on the days of the events.

Our fishing events include:
1. Caps and event T-shirts
2. Fishing rods, reels, and tackle. These are good quality equipment and are given to the children for their continued use.
3. We stock the ponds with a generous supply of fish to insure the success of each child.
4. We provide awards and prizes.
5. BBQ lunch is provided for all children and participating adults.

Kids Day of Fishing Inc. is a non-profit organization which depends upon community support for funding.
